Homework
The 'Homework Overview' sheet provides Reading, Writing and Maths activities in Key Stage One. The school has also subscribed to some fantastic online resources including Times Table Rock Stars, NumBots, MyMaths and Purple Mash. We will be using these online programmes to set optional weekly tasks.

Reading

Please hear your child read regularly, ideally every day and sign their reading records. The children will be assigned 4 reading books each week: 2 e-books (Phonics linked and Guided Reading) and 2 physical books (One colour banded and a free choice) |
| My Maths |
There will be weekly homework set onto MyMaths, where your child can complete a task related to the maths concepts they are currently studying. Please follow this link: https://login.mymaths.co.uk/login |

Homework |
Each half-term the children will receive homework based on the current Topic, English and Maths that we are covering in school. Please complete one writing task per week. Teachers will collect and mark these books each Thursday.

| Spelling | Please share and read the KS1 Common Exception words. By the end of KS1 children should be able to read and spell them all. Ask your child about the 'Word of the Week.' |
