Hello Year 6's!
Here are the tasks we’d like you to complete at home this coming week. You can share what you are doing with us on Class Dojo. Please also have a look at the whole range of learning activities we have prepared for you on the "Learning S If you are coming into school, activities with the school logo beside them will be completed in school so please do not complete them at home.
We can't wait to see your work uploaded onto your Class Dojo Portfolios. Keep up the terrific work, we really do love seeing the brilliant things that you have been doing.

|Transition to Secondary School:||
Your “Be Awesome, Go Big” (BA-GB) workbook can be picked up from school or downloaded from the school website. This week, we are completing lessons 1-4. Work through the slides, and complete the relevant tasks in your workbook.
Look through the information about travelling safely. Then look at the activity sheets on the school website. Complete one activity from page 1, one from page 2, and then complete the puzzle on page 3.
Financial Literacy: This week we are working through lessons 12-14 of our Financial Literacy work. Work through each lesson and complete the task at the end of each one. There are sheets for you to use for lessons 13 and 14 on the school website.
Harry Potter Maths: Work through the “Maths HP Lesson 3” alongside the “Maths HP Lesson 3 Worksheet” from the school website and do some Harry Potter Maths!
Times Table Rockstars: Play the 10 Garage and 10 Festival games which have been set for you.
Continue working on your Dragon story. Look back at your story mountain from last week, and re-read the build-up and dilemma which you wrote. This week, you need to draft the rest of the story (opening, resolution and ending). Check that your story makes sense and flows well before writing it up in neat.
|Spelling and Grammar (SPaG):||
Grammar: Work thought the lesson on cohesive devices, stopping the video to complete the activities when asked.
Spelling: At the end of the SPaG lesson, there are some spelling words for you to practice, all using the suffix –ibly. You can use the wordsearch provided in the lesson activities to help you as well.
This week’s reading comprehension is about Ruby Bridges! You can find it on the school website. You can choose whether to do the 1-star, 2-star or 3-star activity, depending on how confident you are feeling.
Daily reading! Remember to read something which interests you for at least 5 minutes every day.
Continue working on your Leavers’ Book. This week we are aiming to complete up to and including the pages about places around school Use the space on each page to write down your memories and stick in any photos you have.
PE: This year we are having a virtual Sports Day! Keep an eye out for more information ready for Friday!
Computing: Complete “2Paint” on Purple Mash. Create a lovely picture using the 2paint tools. You could create a picture for PSHE or the SPaG optional poster!
