Week beginning 29th June
Please choose one task from each subject per day. We would love to see what tasks your child has chosen to do at home, so please send these to your child's class teacher via Class Dojo.
There are also some fantastic daily lessons and activities on BBC Bitesize for all ages and subjects.
This week, the Year 2 children will be learning to recall and use multiplication facts for the 2, 5 and 10 multiplication tables, including recognising odd and even numbers. They will be learning to understand that the multiplication of two numbers can be done in any order (commutative) and will be using the multiplication symbol (×) and equals (=) signs. In addition to this, the children will be solving word problems using arrays, repeated addition and mental methods.
There is some additional information and support for parents on Oxford Owl.
