Sports Relief – Friday 23rd March 2018

This year's Sports Relief takes place next Friday 23rd March.  As part of the day, children will be able to dress up in their sporting clothes.   If you feel able to contribute we would like your child to bring in a small donation for Sports Relief.  We have set a school collective challenge over the week to run as many collective miles as we can.  The initial target will be set at 3,000 miles.  Everyone will be able to take part on the day in this fun event. Sainsbury's will also be donating Sports Relief cookies for us to sell at 50p each.  Other Sports Relief items will be on sale in the reception area during week commencing 19th March.

In addition, children are asked to bring in 1p and 2p coins as we will be using them to create a sporting picture.  The money raised for this will be split between Sports Relief and raising money for a Mile Track (see below).

RHA Fun Run – Saturday 19th May 2018

The RHA are organising a fundraising event to raise money for a mile track at school.  There will be a Fun Run at school on Saturday 19th May.  Please make a note of the date and look out for further details from the RHA after the Easter Holidays.

Parents and Visitors in School

It is very important that all visitors to school must enter through the front door and report to the school office.  Parents/carers are not allowed to gain access to the school in any other way.  Although it is tempting to cut through school from the field after using the Lidl gate this is strictly not allowed as it compromises the security of the building. Please do not be offended but expect to be challenged about the reason you are in the building as this is part of our safeguarding procedures.

Lost Property

We have a large amount of unnamed lost property in school at the moment.  If this is still unclaimed by the end of the spring term on Thursday 29th March then we will be taking everything to a charity shop.
