In Outdoor Learning this year the children have been involved in a variety of tasks including a microclimate study, a tree survey, creating leaf circles, writing winter poems, making homes for minibeasts, drawing maps of the Wild Area and some groups had a nest building competition. The children have been outside whenever the weather was suitable but given the cold weather earlier in the year, some sessions were held in the ICT suite where they could work on writing up their Wild Area Diaries.
