New Intake - September 2022

Are You Thinking of Round Hill as Your Child's First School?

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision.  At Round Hill we are proud of the fact that we can provide the care and support your child needs along with opportunities to make the most of their talents in addition to academic success.

Like other schools in our collaboration, we have taken the decision not to hold tours of the school for parents with children due to start in September 2022 due to the increased risk in spreading COVID-19. Therefore, instead of this, the videos below give you a flavour of Round Hill Primary School. If you would like any other details please, please do get in touch.

We look forward to welcoming all of our new families to school next September.  If you would like to find out more about the school day for children in reception / foundation, please read the 'Welcome Pack for Parents 2021' which will help you to understand a little more about what we do.  This can be found at the bottom of this page.

The Welcome Pack provides practical day-to-day information to know what to expect as your child begins school.  Please note that this is updated every year to reflect any changes that occur over time.  It was accurate at the point of being published for new starters in 2021.  In due course this will be updated taking into account the current pandemic, along with information and guidance as it is released from the Local Authority and Government.

We are already planning for September 2022.  Once school places have been allocated in April 2022, information from Pre-Schools will be shared with us and we will ask for some ‘All About Me’ information for your child that is invaluable to our teachers.  You will also be asked to complete our electronic Pupil Personal Details Form.

Again, once places are allocated, we will sign all of our new families up to ‘Class Dojo’.  In the meantime, you can take a look at  to familiarise yourself with things.  This tool helps us to make contact with each parent so that we can begin to get to know each other.

We are really looking forward to meeting you!

We hope you enjoy our EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Welcome Video.
