THE GOVERNORS' CODES OF CONDUCT AND PRACTICE

The role that governors now play is vital to the maintenance of the high standards in our schools and the ever needed development of improved educational opportunities for our young people and their communities. To this end new governors need to “hit the ground running” and Governing Bodies themselves need to operate effectively, practising good governance through often difficult and challenging circumstances.  The Round Hill Governing Body has developed the attached code of conduct and practice that contain the key principles that we all agree to as being how we intend to work together. These may be changed from time to time by agreement to cater for changing circumstance, but they will always cover the legal requirements and be relevant to our specific school governing body.
