Week 3: W/C 18th January 2021

Dear Bugs, Birds and Bears...

WOW, you have all been such busy bees! We have been amazed this week with all of the wonderful home learning taking place. A HUGE well done from all of the Foundation staff.

In our number learning this week we will be developing our understanding of partitioning, exploring odds/evens and practising our counting backwards.

For writing we will be reading a brand new book and doing many fun activities to learn the Zog story. Please see the writing post for this week on Class Dojo for the videos of the British Sign Language (BSL) version of Zog recorded by Mrs. Fordham and Mrs. Mayfield.

This week for phonics we will learning some new letter sounds and tricky words in phase 3. There will be lots of fun and new books to read on Oxford Owl. Don't forget to choose books which match the sounds and tricky words that we are learning in phonics.

Please find attached all of the home learning support resources that you will need for this week. Please do not hesitate to send any questions to us on Class Dojo if you need any further help or support.

We hope that you have another great week,

The EYFS team.
