Admissions applications for Round Hill Primary School are received through Nottinghamshire County Council’s co-ordinated scheme for first admission to school and for in-year transfers.

Admissions Appeals

The Admissions Appeals process for all Equals Trust schools engages Nottinghamshire County Council’s Independent Appeals Panel.  None of the members who sit on the panels have any connection to Equals Trust schools.  Their decision is independent and final.

The cost of any Admissions Appeal is charged to the school and comes out of their allocated budget.

If your child is due to start school in September 2027, we would love you to come and see our school… in a way that is tailored to your needs.

We would love you to come and see our school… in a way that is tailored to your needs.  We are offering TWO different types of events:

1. Information Evening for Parents – A presentation evening full of information about our school, led by the Head Teacher and school staff.  Followed by a tour of the school.

  • Monday 28th September 6.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 3rd November 6.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.
  • Monday 7th December 6.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.


2. Pre School Stay and Play for Parents and Children (along with a school tour)  – An opportunity for you and your child to explore the EYFS area indoors and outdoors and a tour of school.

  • Friday 2nd October 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
  • Friday 9th October 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
  • Friday 13th November 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
  • Friday 27th November 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
