We would love to hear from you, please get in touch below

Your views about the school are important to us.

Communication…

Communication between home and school is important to us.  Please remember to let us have your up to date mobile phone number/email address and let us know if it changes so that we can contact you in case of emergency and let you know when our e-communications are published.

If you need to contact a member of staff all emails should be directed to office@roundhill.notts.sch.uk they will then be disseminated to the appropriate person.

Round Hill School Bulletins, sent out 6 times per year, are available on the school website.  As usual we will send you a link via your email address.  If this presents difficulties let us know and we will send you a paper copy.  (See the section below on updating your contact details).

We send out an Annual Questionnaire in the autumn term as part of our ongoing ‘School Development’ work.  You can see the results and what we have done about these by clicking on the link on the right hand side.

Parent View

Parent View gives you the chance to tell us what you think about your Round Hill Primary School.

Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.  OFSTED will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.

By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child’s school. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.

Parents’ Forum

All parents are welcome to attend the meetings which are held termly – the times and can be found in the school diary section of the school Bulletins and/or Newsletters. click here to see more.

At Round Hill Primary School, we value the partnership between parents and school and realise that this is one of the keys to successful learning for every child.

However we also recognise that occasionally things can go wrong and therefore need a clear procedure for dealing with a parent’s concerns and complaints.

The best person to make contact with in the first instance is your child’s class teacher.  As they are working with the children all day every day, they are best-placed to take the necessary actions that will alleviate the issue or concern quickly and without causing further upset.

Should the concern remain then there are a number of other team members you can meet with to discuss the issue and identify a way forward, starting with one of our Phase Leaders, Assistant or Deputy Head.  If the matter is still a concern you are welcome to ask for an appointment with our Headteacher.

If you require more information about our concern and complaints procedure, please refer to our policy here.

The Annual Questionnaire is issued each Autumn Term to parent/carers as an element of our on-going commitment to School Improvement.  We also survey Year 6 parents and children in the summer before they leave.

We appreciate and value all feedback so that we can continue to improve the quality of education which we provide for your child.  Of course, if you wish to bring any matter to our urgent attention, please do, via the usual channels.

We recognise there is still more to do and as a committed team of professionals we aim, with your help, to make further improvements to make Round Hill the very best school it can be and one of which we all can be proud.
