All children in Year 6 are given the opportunity to take part in Bikeability Cycle Training. This is a government recognised national scheme.  This usually takes place in the Autumn Term of Year 6 although can run over into the Spring Term.

The Bikeability is run Via, Nottinghamshire County Council.

In order to take part, all children must be able to cycle 10 metres, unaided and without stabilisers and have a bike which is in a roadworthy condition and a bike helmet.

For full details of what Bikeability entails, please click on the below Guidance for Parents document.

An information meeting for parents will be held on Thursday 19th March 2026 from 3:45pm to 4:15pm. This will cover the administration of the SATs tests and how you can support your child.

Below are a list of online resources which your child can access to support their learning at home.

We encourage all children in year 5 and 6 to continue to practise their times tables in order to develop fast recall of multiplication and division facts. Times Tables Rockstars passwords are given out to all pupils in UKS2:
